Landscape Lighting Built for Southwest Florida

Good landscape lighting makes a home safer to walk at night, shows off your architecture and mature palms, and extends your lanai and pool into the evening. Done wrong in Southwest Florida, it corrodes in salt air, floods in a summer downpour, or gets pulled out by an HOA.

As a licensed electrical contractor, we handle the whole job — design, line-voltage power, GFCI protection, transformers, fixtures and controls — so it is installed to code and built to last.

What We Install

  • Path & walkway lighting
  • Palm & tree uplighting
  • Moonlighting from mature oaks
  • Architectural wall washing
  • Step, wall & paver lights
  • Pool, lanai & outdoor kitchen accents
  • Driveway & entry lighting
  • Dock & seawall lighting
  • Smart timers, photocells & app control
  • Repair & LED upgrades of existing systems

Built for Our Climate

  • Salt air: solid brass, copper or marine-grade stainless fixtures — not painted aluminum that pits within a couple of seasons
  • Summer rain & flooding: sealed, waterproof connections and transformers mounted above grade
  • Hurricane season: low-profile fixtures, secured runs, and a layout designed so lights can be reset quickly after a storm
  • Irrigation & sandy soil: cable routed clear of sprinkler lines and buried at proper depth
  • Efficiency: LED throughout, so a full-property system costs very little a month to run

Near the Beach? Lighting Rules Apply

Sea turtle nesting season runs May 1 – October 31 on Florida beaches, and coastal communities restrict lighting that is visible from the sand. For beachfront and near-beach homes on Marco Island, Naples, Bonita Beach and Barefoot Beach, we design with shielded, low-output, amber or turtle-safe fixtures so you get a beautiful result without a code or compliance problem.

HOA & Gated-Community Ready

Most Southwest Florida master-planned communities require architectural review for exterior changes. We prepare a clear fixture list and layout plan you can submit to your HOA, condo board or community manager before any work begins — and we work to the finish, color-temperature and brightness guidelines they set.

We Light the Whole Property as One Design

Lighting works best when it is planned as a single scheme, not added a fixture at a time. We walk your property zone by zone so every area supports the next.

1 Arrival

Gate, driveway, entry and address: the first impression, and the part that keeps guests and delivery drivers safe after dark.

2 The House

Gentle grazing and wall washing bring out stucco, stone, columns and rooflines without turning the facade into a floodlit wall.

3 Palms & Canopy

Uplighting for palms and specimen trees, and soft moonlighting from oaks to cast natural shadows across the lawn.

4 Beds & Walkways

Low, shielded fixtures guide the way through planting beds, steps and paths with no glare in the eyes.

5 Pool & Lanai

Warm accents around the cage, outdoor kitchen and seating, with GFCI protection and correct bonding where required.

6 Water & Dock

Seawall, dock, canal and lake-edge lighting built for constant moisture, and shielded where wildlife or neighbors matter.

Plan My Property

Three Common Starting Points

Whether your yard is dark, your lights have failed or your system has grown messy over the years, we begin with a walk-through and a clear recommendation.

No lighting yet

A new design from scratch: we plan the zones, size the transformers, run the power properly and install a layered system you can expand later.

Lights that stopped working

Corroded fixtures, failed transformers, chewed cable or dead sections. We diagnose the cause, repair what can be saved and replace what can’t.

A system that grew over time

Mismatched colors, uneven coverage, overloaded runs or old halogen fixtures. We rebalance and retrofit it into one clean LED system.

Lighting Tailored to Your Part of Southwest Florida

A Pelican Bay courtyard, a Marco Island canal home and a Lehigh Acres acreage need very different lighting plans. Here is how we approach each area we serve.

Collier County

Landscape Lighting in Naples

Naples homes are all about curb appeal and entertaining outdoors. We light courtyards, entry gates, mature oaks and palm-lined drives, and coordinate with the strict architectural standards of the city’s gated and golf communities.

  • Warm 2700K color temperature to flatter stucco & stone
  • Design plans formatted for HOA & architectural review
  • Near-beach fixtures for Naples Beach & Port Royal-area homes

Communities we serve: Old Naples, Port Royal, Pelican Bay, Grey Oaks, Mediterra, Lely Resort, Vineyards, Quail Creek, Fiddler’s Creek, East Naples

Collier County

Landscape Lighting in North Naples

North Naples is full of golf-course, preserve and lake-front lots. We light for the view as much as the house — subtle lanai and pool lighting that doesn’t wash out the fairway or the water, and uplighting for mature landscaping.

  • Lanai, pool-cage & outdoor kitchen lighting
  • Lake-front & preserve-edge lighting kept dark and shielded
  • Palm & specimen-tree uplighting
  • Community-specific HOA submittals

Communities we serve: Pelican Marsh, Tiburón, Vanderbilt Beach, Bay Colony, Quail West, Barrington Cove, Autumn Woods, Palm River

Lee County

Landscape Lighting in Bonita Springs

From Bonita Beach to the golf communities along the river, Bonita Springs mixes coastal and inland conditions. Beach-adjacent homes need turtle-safe, corrosion-proof fixtures; inland properties get full-property designs.

  • Turtle-friendly fixtures for Bonita Beach & Barefoot Beach
  • Marine-grade materials for salt-air exposure
  • Golf-community entry & driveway lighting
  • Dock and riverfront lighting

Communities we serve: Spanish Wells, Bonita Beach, Barefoot Beach, Palmira Golf Club, Imperial River area, Worthington, Village Walk

Lee County

Landscape Lighting in Estero

Estero’s newer master-planned communities often come with detailed design guidelines and little existing landscape lighting. We start from the community rules and build a layered plan on a young landscape that will mature with it.

  • New-construction & builder-lighting upgrades
  • Fixtures chosen to meet community color & finish guidelines
  • Lighting that grows with young trees and palms
  • Lake and waterway-side shielding

Communities we serve: Pelican Landing, West Bay Club, Williams Island, Wildcat Run, Spring Run, The Brooks, Mirasol, Bella Terra

Landscape Lighting in Marco Island

Marco Island is the most demanding environment we light: constant salt spray, canal and waterfront homes, docks and seawalls, and sea turtle lighting restrictions near the beach. We specify accordingly.

  • Highest-grade corrosion-resistant brass, copper & stainless
  • Dock, seawall & boat-lift lighting
  • Beach-visible lighting designed for turtle-nesting season
  • Waterproof sealed connections throughout

Communities we serve: Marco Island canal and waterfront homes, beachfront residences, Marco Island neighborhoods

Landscape Lighting in Fort Myers & Cape Coral

Across Fort Myers, Cape Coral and Lehigh Acres you will find everything from historic McGregor estates to canal-front Cape Coral homes to large rural lots. We tailor scope and fixture count to the property, from a simple entry refresh to full acreage design.

  • Historic-home & McGregor-corridor architectural lighting
  • Canal, dock & riverfront lighting

Why Coastal Lighting Fails — and How We Prevent It

Salt, humidity, sprinkler spray and summer storms shorten the life of ordinary landscape fixtures. Most failures come from cheap housings, unsealed connections and wiring that was never sized for the load. We address each one up front.

  • Housings: solid brass, copper or marine-grade stainless, not painted aluminum
  • Seals: gasketed lenses and sealed, gel-filled or heat-sealed connections
  • Wire: correct gauge for the run length, so lights at the end don’t dim
  • Cable depth & routing: buried clear of irrigation and edging tools
  • Transformers: mounted above grade, protected from flooding and sprinklers
  • Protection: GFCI-protected circuits from the panel to the transformer

Six Decisions That Make Lighting Look Right

The difference between a professional design and a string of bright spots is in the details.

1 Beam spread

Narrow beams for palms and columns, wide for hedges and walls, matched to what each fixture has to cover.

2 Fixture placement

Distance and angle decide whether you see texture and shadow or a flat wash of light.

3 Glare control

Shields, hoods and careful aiming keep the light on the landscape and out of eyes, windows and neighbors’ yards.

4 Color temperature

Warm light, typically around 2700K, flatters stucco, stone and greenery. We keep color consistent across the property.

5 Wire & transformer layout

Balanced runs and correctly sized transformers keep every fixture at full brightness and leave room to expand.

6 View from inside

We aim and balance the lighting from the lanai and living room too, so your windows frame the garden instead of reflecting glare.

Landscape Lighting Done Right the First Time

Many lighting companies are landscapers or “handyman” outfits. We are a licensed electrical contractor, which means the power side of your lighting is done safely and legally.

  • Licensed Florida electrical contractor — permits pulled when required
  • GFCI-protected circuits and properly sized transformers
  • Brass, copper and marine-grade stainless fixtures for salt air
  • Clean, buried cable runs — no exposed wire or sloppy splices
  • One team for lighting, outlets, panel capacity or a generator

Landscape Lighting Questions Answered

Common questions from Southwest Florida homeowners.

What does landscape lighting cost? +
It depends on the size of the property, the number of fixtures, the fixture material and how much trenching or electrical work is required. A modest entry and path system costs far less than a full-property design with pool, dock and tree lighting. We provide a written estimate after a free on-site consultation.
Will it hold up to salt air and hurricane season? +
We use solid brass, copper or marine-grade stainless fixtures with sealed connections for coastal properties and mount transformers above grade. Low-voltage systems are also quick to inspect and reset after a storm.
Do I need HOA approval? +
Often, yes. Many Naples, Estero, Bonita Springs and Fort Myers communities require architectural review for exterior changes. We provide a clear layout and fixture list to submit before work starts.
Are there restrictions near the beach? +
Yes. Sea turtle nesting season runs May 1 through October 31, and coastal communities restrict lighting visible from the beach. We use shielded, low-output, turtle-safe fixtures for beachfront and near-beach homes.
Can you add lighting to my existing system or fix lights that stopped working? +
Yes. We repair, expand and upgrade existing low-voltage systems — including converting older halogen fixtures to LED and replacing corroded fixtures and transformers.
Can you also handle other electrical work at the same time? +
Yes. Because we are a licensed electrical contractor, we can add outdoor outlets, upgrade a panel, install an EV charger or a Generac standby generator in the same visit or project.
